Bed Head Wave Artist - Review and Giveaway

If you are like me...at times styling your hair can be a little difficult. I see gorgeous hairstyles in magazines and on television but it is hard to recreate those same hairstyles at home...until now! Bed Head is a company I am familiar with...I love their hair manipulator and have been using it for several years. I have never owned any of their hair styling appliances until now and boy...I am so glad that I now have one. What I really love about the Bed Head web site is that they have cool online videos that you can watch that give you a lot of hair styling tips!

About The Wave Artist: The Wave Artist is a curling iron that is easy to use on medium to long hair. The tourmaline ceramic technology will help to keep your hair frizz-free and shiny. This curling iron will heat up in less than 30 seconds and has multiple heat settings...allowing the user to select the setting that is best for them.

My Review: Bed Head was kind enough to send me their new Wave Artist to try out for my product review. The first thing that I noticed about it was how extremely well made it is. This is no cheaply made hair appliance! My daughter and I took it out of the package and plugged it in. Within 30 seconds, it was ready to go. My daughter decided that she wanted to do my hair...so she started at the back first. She sectioned off my hair with some clips since I have thick shoulder-length hair and started at the back and moved around to the sides. The Wave Artist fit comfortably in her hands and she appreciated that the electrical cord didn't tangle up or twist up on itself as she used it. We were pleasantly surprised to see how quickly the Wave Artist works...she had my entire head done within 12 minutes! I decided that since she did my hair, I was going to do hers...fair play, right? My daughter has very long naturally curly hair so I had to section hers off with some hair clips too and I just worked around her head as I went. I agree with her, it does fit comfortably in your hands and my hands never got cramped using it. After we were done, we both agreed that our hair looked shinier than it had before and we had perfect waves!

Overall Impression: The Bed Head Wave Artist did exactly what it said it would do...give us shiny, healthier-looking hair with gorgeous waves! It was easy to operate and we appreciated the fact that it is completely heated up in less than 30 seconds. The Bed Head Wave Artist is a definite must-have hair appliance if you want frizz-free silky waves at home. My daughter and I give it a big two thumbs up!
